Hello!  Thanks for reading my monthly newsletter / blog.  The month of April was a cool and fun month in regards to comedy and life.  I took time to relax a little bit and just enjoy 2 weekends away from the stage.  The first quarter of 2009 is complete and in the month of April, I vowed to work more character development into my act.  The big show in April was a pre-Easter Gospel Comedy show with my comedy buddies and fellow Bethune-Cookman Alumni Rod-Z and Goldiee at the Cocoa Civic Center in Cocoa, FL.  The show was fun, clean and for the whole family (including kids).  If someone is reading this and want to put on a show for a birthday, or anniversary or pastor’s appreciation…holla at me…lol.  The latter part of April brought me back to Bonkerz Comedy Club in Altamonte Springs, FL at the Why Not Lounge.  The fans showed their support and I had 1 out of 2 sold out shows. 

There is nothing else I really care to discuss right now.  I’m proud of myself for being consistent in bringing news to all who cares to read it.  I don’t know yet how many people these blogs are reaching, but I hope whoever you are; you find it entertaining and at least give you a little more personal feel of Shawn Banks!
