Hello!  Thanks for reading my monthly newsletter / blog.  The month of March was a slow and easy month for comedy in reference to shows, but “HUGE” for me in regards to future opportunities.  It’s kinda funny how you can speak things into existence.  I put as a status on my Facebook page in the 2^nd week of March and it read “Shawn Banks is excited about all the opportunities that are upon him and upcoming”.  I put the aforementioned statement as my status and kept it like that for 2 weeks, but little did I know that I would have an opportunity to audition for a NBC TV Show in the last week of March.  It was a great process and I was really appreciative for the opportunity to just be there.  The chance to audition for a TV show holds so much promise and hope for the future…. and who know’s--maybe one day you will see me on National TV.  I guess you gotta stay tuned and keep reading the “Shaaaaaaaawn Banks” monthly newsletter / blogs to see. 

In all honesty; I really enjoyed the month of March; I got a chance to work 2 weekends at my “workout” comedy spot in Daytona Beach, FL. I also would like to send a huge THANK YOU, to all the folks that came out to see me at my 3 SOLD OUT shows in Downtown Orlando March 27 & 28^th.  I appreciate the followers and will never forget ya’ll when I make it “BIG”…lol!  I think this is enough for now.  The first quarter of 2009 is finished and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for me.  Stay blessed and keep your nose to the grindstone.  Love you all!!!!
